Open to Queensland artists practising in all media, the Artworkers Award offers a $5000 Acquisitive Prize, a $1000 Highly Commended Prize (non-acquisitive) and solo exhibition at Raw Space Galleries valued at $1800 .
The Award has been developed to support artists financially, promote the value of artistic product, and establish a public collection of work that provides an overview of visual arts practice in Queensland.
The Award winner will be announced at the exhibition launch on 20 October 2006, at Raw Space Galleries.
